This EHS Policy establishes principles to protect and advance the corporation's essential interests worldwide and to fulfill our commitment to people and the environment. Protecting and responsibly managing natural resources are critical to the quality of life in the areas we serve, the environment and GAMA's long-term business success, as well.

GAMA Power Systems’ policy is to produce and supply the services in a healthy and safe working environment while striving to minimize the impact of our activities on the surrounding environment, in full compliance with current legislation.

Our guiding principles for EHS are:
• We will comply with all applicable environmental, health and safety laws and regulations and adopt best sound professional judgment where laws and regulations do not exist.

• Occupational health and safety values will not be compromised. No job is so important and no task so urgent that the necessary steps cannot be taken to perform it safely and maintain the health of GAMA members, business partners, customers and the public.

• We will continually seek to understand our relationship to the environment and adopt technically sound and economically feasible controls that will avoid or mitigate negative impact.

• We will provide GAMA members with the training and tools that ensure that they have the knowledge and skills needed to implement this philosophy and perform their jobs competently.

• We will identify and control EHS risks and ensure that appropriate contingency plans are in place to address unforeseen events.

• We require high quality, environmentally sound and safe work from our business partners. We expect our business partners to supply and retain quality personnel adequately trained to perform their jobs safely.

• We will set measurable goals for EHS performance and track progress against these goals. We will review our operations to ensure compliance with these principles.

• We believe that our culture will foster a work environment that holds GAMA members and business partners accountable for fully implementing this EHS philosophy and encourages all GAMA members to express their views about EHS concerns.
